Ordering:

A template must be supplied.

Delivery lead time commences once Striproll's factory receives your template.

Please specify colour, sheet quantity, delivery address or pick up, and date preferred for delivery/pick up. Striproll will confirm estimated delivery date.

Sheets must have a minimum of 100 mm straight material either side of the curved section (including at the gutter end of Bullnose sheeting). If a straight section into the gutter is not acceptable for your requirements, trim off the straight portion as desired.

Sheets can be curved to a minimum radii of 400 mm. Curving to smaller radii may cause imperfections in the sheet.
Smaller radii can be curved at customers own risk and the customer agrees to take responsibility for any imperfections.
Material with a radii under 450mm is non returnable in the event of imperfections in the curved sheet.

Templates MUST always be clearly marked with the following:

  • Straight roof section length in millimeters.
  • Straight length after curve in Millimeters (minimum 100mm).
  • Colour on concave or convex side of sheet.
  • Laying direction as seen looking from front of bullnose or gutter end of the sheet.

Laying notes

Fixing:
Fix to current code of practice HB 39-2015. Minimum pitch 5 degrees.
Requires 5 fasteners per sheet for all edges of roofs.
It is essential to not exceed the maximum allowable support spacing table.

A carpenter's level should be used to lay the first sheet.
Always measure squarness of every sheet.

Saw-Toothing
Saw-toothing occurs when curved steel sheets are laid(or stepped) over each other.
This is a natural occurrence and cannot be avoided. It is therefore essential to ensure that the saw-tooth at each end of the sheet are of equal measurement so that the roof being fixed is running square. If saw-toothing is not acceptable, it will be necessary to trim off the bottom edge to obtain a straight appearance.
